Renae Sims Humburger, 77, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Willows Care Center in Blackfoot, Idaho.

She was born June 27, 1936 in Arco, Idaho to Stanley and Vivian Combe Blattner. Renae was raised and attended schools in Arco where she graduated from Butte County High School in 1955.

Barry J. Winterbottom, 64

April 25, 2014

Barry J. Winterbottom, 64, of Blackfoot, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at his home.
He was born Nov. 30, 1949  in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Elmo and Ida Walters Winterbottom. He lived his entire life in Blackfoot, where he attended school at Blackfoot High School.
At the young age of 20, Barry enlisted in the United States Army from 1969-1970 and served in Vietnam War. He was awarded a Purple Heart for wounds received in action. 
On Sept. 3, 1972 he married Winona Galloway Edmo in Elko, Nev. They later divorced.

David Alan Neff, 33

April 23, 2014

David Alan Neff, 33, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 from injuries due to a 4-wheeler accident.
David was born to Karen Evelyn Neff on Feb. 26, 1981 in Blackfoot, Idaho. He was raised in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School.
He worked for Boise Cascade. In his free time he enjoyed camping, floating the river, riding his 4-wheeler, snow-machining, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved working on the farm with his Grandpa Neff, until his grandpa retired from farming.
David was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church.

Robert “Bob” L. Thomas

April 21, 2014

Robert “Bob” L. Thomas passed away in his sleep, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Bingham Memorial Skilled Nursing center from complications due to Parkinson’s disease.
He was born October 6, 1949, the second of 11 children, born to Eugene and Bertha Thomas in Blackfoot, Idaho. All of his schooling was done in the Blackfoot School District.
In his youth he liked to go camping. Once in Wolverine canyon, he and his brother were lighting off cherry bombs, when Bob stepped on one and just about blew his foot off.

Harriet M. Steffens Anthony, 91

Harriet M. Steffens Anthony, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2014 at the age of 91. She was born in Pocatello, Idaho on Sept. 22, 1922 to Peter H. Steffens and Harriet M. (Esler) Steffens. She was the older sister to four brothers.
She attended school in Blackfoot, Pocatello and California and graduated from Blackfoot High School.
She was married almost 65 years to Verlon N. Anthony of Kimball, Idaho before his passing in 2005.
She enjoyed music, singing, nature, handwork, reading, camping, playing games and dancing. She loved her family and her grandchildren brought her great joy.

Tina Louise Kinghorn, 30

Tina Louise Kinghorn, 30, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.
Tina was born March 17, 1984 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Micheal Scott Kinghorn and Linda Ramos Kinghorn. She graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 2005 and was attending Southeastern Idaho Developmental Center.

Dale Wadsworth, 86

Dale Wadsworth, 86, of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away peacefully in his wife’s arms on Monday, April 14, 2014.  
 Dale was born on March 22, 1928, in Wapello, the ninth child of Francis Abiah and Lydia Christina Wadsworth.  As a child, Dale enjoyed riding horses, fishing, hunting, and observing nature. 
Dale earned his Eagle and Ranger rank in the Boy Scouts of America and one of his fondest memories was participating in the Boy Scout Centennial in Salt Lake City.

Elmer Arthur (Art) Schulz, Jr. — 1927-2014

After a brief illness, our husband, father, and grandfather passed away in his sleep on Saturday, March 29, 2014.
Art was born on Sept. 19, 1927, in Guymon, Okla., to Elmer Arthur Schulz and Margaret Louise (McBride) Schulz, both originally from Missouri. His father and grandfather Schulz were bricklayers and stonemasons who came from Missouri and ended up in Denver, by way of Craig, Colo.

L. “Wid” and Nita Disney

L. “Wid” Disney was born on Sept. 14, 1926 in Shelley, Idaho to parents Orlen J. Disney of Delphos, Kansas, and Nora P. Drain of Scott City, Kansas.
He was raised in Eastern Idaho on ranches along the river bottoms of the Snake River on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.  He attended several schools in the area including the Thomas School. He left home at an early age and relocated to the Ontario, Ore. area where he pursued what he loved best, ranching and rodeoing.

Fay Eugene “Bud” Jones

Surrounded by family and friends, Fay Jones died peacefully at his home on April 10, 2014 at the age of 86.
Fay was the oldest of four children born to Bud Jones in Malad City, Idaho. He came into this world on June 30, 1927. The family grew with the arrival of two sisters, Mary Lois and Sharon Lee and one brother, DeLon (Lonnie). He will forever be “Big brother and trusted protector”.
