The loving son, Robert “Bob” Allen Blair, of Richard Allen Blair and Hailey Nicole Steed passed away at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center following an unfortunate accident.

Bonnie “Verlee” Mangum, 80

Bonnie “Verlee” Mangum, 80, of Blackfoot, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014 at the Bingham Memorial Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center.
Verlee was born  July 31, 1934 in Monmouth, Illinois, to Arthur Flora Thornburg and Fay Cleo Shellabarger. She was raised in Illinois and Salt Lake City, Utah, and finished her schooling in the Snake River School District when she moved to Idaho to live with her aunt and uncle, Gayle and Ruby Williams.
On May 4, 1955 Verlee married Lynn R. Mangum in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They had four sons, Lloyd, Ron, Barry and Blaine.

Bonnie “Verlee” Mangum, 80, of Blackfoot, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014 at the Bingham Memorial Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center.

Angela T. Flores, 87

August 14, 2014

Angela T. Flores, 87, of Blackfoot, passed away, Sunday, Aug.10, 2014 at Bingham Memorial Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born May 31, 1927 in McAllen, Texas, to Anacleto Trevino and Priciliana Gutierrez. Angela was raised in Texas. Her parents were migrant workers and as a result, her family moved around as needed to work in the fields. In 1952 they moved to Blackfoot to work in the potato harvest and she has resided here since.
In 1940 she married Jose Maria Flores in McAllen, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Angela was a member of the Catholic Church.

Annette Scott, 51

Annette Scott, 51, of Blackfoot, returned to her Heavenly Father Sunday, Aug.10, 2014, after a two-year battle with cancer. With her children by her side, she passed away peacefully at the Bingham Memorial Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center.

William Robert 'Heavy' Macfarlane, 69

The man with the larger than life personality, most affectionately known to so many, as Heavy Macfarlane, passed away at the age of 69 on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, from complications of esophageal cancer.
He was born on July 26, 1945 to Robert Walter “Bob” and Harriet Elizabeth Taylor Macfarlane in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Tanda Kay Pratt, 60

Tanda Kay Pratt, 60, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014, near Baker City, Oregon, from injuries sustained in a wildlife-caused traffic accident.  
Tanda was born on May 15, 1954, in Boise, Idaho, to David and Wilma Ogle.  She was the oldest of four children and the first grandchild on both the Ogle and Waite sides of the family.  Her two sisters and brother always looked up to her as their strong, brave big sister who inspired them and looked out for them.

Beverly Joy Goodman, 84

Beverly Joy Goodman, 84, of Groveland passed away at her home on Aug. 6, 2014.
Beverly was born on Oct. 18, 1929 in Provo, Utah, to John Glen Olsen and Ellen Bendall. 
She attended and graduated from Provo High School. After graduation she married S. Dale Goodman on Sept. 10, 1949, in Provo, Utah. Theirs was a classic tale of love at first sight. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 13, 1950.

Alfonso Escoto Lopez, 64
Alfonso Escoto Lopez, 64, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at Bingham Memorial Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Blackfoot.
Alfonso was born May 17, 1950 in Michoacan, Mexico to Jesus Lopez and Trenid Escoto.
He was raised in Mexico and came to the United States in 1967. He traveled around as a migrant worker and a farm worker in various area’s. Farmer’s taught him to drive farm equipment and trucks. That is how he became a truck driver.
In 1985 Alfonso married Eloise George in Blackfoot, Idaho. They were later divorced.

Lydia Perkes, 88

Lydia Perkes, 88, of Blackfoot, passed away August 10, 2014, at The Willows.
She was born October 1, 1925 in Blackfoot, Idaho the daughter of Byron Jackman and Mildred Samuelson.
Lydia attended school in Blackfoot and Moreland. She married Arthur Perkes on June 11, 1942 in the Logan LDS Temple.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She served in various callings during her lifetime and served a mission with her husband, Arthur, in the Washington DC Mission from 1982-1983.
