Darrel Wayne Abrahamson passed away peacefully on May 1, 2013, on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation. He was an enrolled member of the Colville Confederated Tribes, as well as the Spokane and Coeur dâAlene Tribes.
He was born at home in Spokane, Wash. to James Abrahamson Sr. and Violet Friedlander Abrahamson.
Jose Cruz Najar Sr., passed away on May 1, 2013 in Blackfoot.
He was born on May 25, 1940 in Mexicali, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents Santos and Loreto Ortiz, and a beloved nephew Andres DeLira Jr. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Maria Elena Rodriguez, and his six children. Jose Cruz Najar Jr., Christine Stewart, Edward Najar, Norma Gibson, Joseph Najar, and Grace C. Reynolds. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Â
Judith H. Lingmann Snow left this world on a bright sunny morning, May 2, 2013. She had moved to the Spring Creek Retirement Center in American Falls, Idaho just 5 months before, due to increasing health problems. Her kids like to think if she couldnât bowl or golf any more why bother trying to feel better. Death was due to her readiness to join her husband Leo and daughter Kay on the other side of the veil.
Joseph Archie Grover, 63, of Moreland, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from injuries sustained in an accident.
Joe was born Sept. 12, 1949 in Blackfoot to Samuel B. Grover and Gwendolyn Cheney. He graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1968 and attended Idaho State University in Pocatello.
 On April 11, 1969 Joe married Lena K. Michelson in Springfield. She preceded him in death in March 26, 1995. On Jan. 8, 1999 Joe married Rebecca Otteson in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Peggy Susan Hermansen, 71, of Blackfoot passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 8, 1941 in Blackfoot, the daughter of Robert Harker Cook and Mildred Lucille Hopla Cook.
She graduated from Snake River High School in 1959.
On Dec. 16, 1960, she married Martin Hermansen in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Peggy was raised in Thomas, and has lived in Massachusetts; Philadelphia; Hampton and Norfolk, Va.; and Great Lakes, IL, all while Martin was serving in the Navy.
Eugene Van Orden, 71, of Pingree passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his home.
He was born Feb. 5, 1942 in Pingree, the son of Edmond Orlando Van Orden and Mae Irene Liljinquist Van Orden.
Eugene graduated from Snake River High School in 1960.
On June 17, 1960, he married Carolynn Furniss in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in a bishopric, as High Priest group leader, various other callings and was currently serving as a temple ordinance worker until his health declined.

Ron Lee Taylor, 66, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 27, 2013.Â
Ron was born in Burley on April 20, 1947 to Dona & Lyle Taylor. He was the oldest of five children.
Ron lived in Burley, Aberdeen, American Falls and Pocatello. He was married to Nancy Wickel and they had two children; Arden and Kristen. They later divorced and he married Donna Benson and together they had one child; Logan. Ron and Donna later divorced. In 1986 he met and married the love of his life, Sheri Morris Thomas.
Kimberly Dawn Lopez Rodriguez, 43, of Buhl formerly of Fort Hall passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Buhl following a courageous bout with cancer.
Kimberly was born in the early morning hours of May 18, 1969, the daughter of Dave K. Begay of Arizona and Zelberta Sequints Begay of Fort Hall.
 Theodore âTedâ A. Katseanes, 81 of Blackfoot, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at his home following a short illness.
He was born on March 30, 1932 in Blackfoot to Angel and Ada Lucinda Bingham Katseanes. He attended school in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School. Following graduation he attended the University of Idaho for one year.During his lifetime he has lived in Blackfoot, Idaho Falls and Hamer and in Winnemucca, Neva.
 On Sept. 10, 1951 he married Rodonna Cammack in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple.

Dalia Blanca Smith Matamoros, joined our Father in Heaven on Sunday, April 21, 2013.
Her lifelong journey began when she was born to Rafael and Francis Matamoros on
March 1, 1968 in Blackfoot. Dalia is fifth of 10 children. She has six brothers and three sisters.
Dalia was raised in Blackfoo,t completing her early education where she graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1986.
