Johnie Romero Chavis, 86, of Basalt, Idaho passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the Basalt LDS Church with Bishop Clair Christensen conducting.

Interment will be in the Firth Cemetery under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot, Idaho with Military Honors presented by the American Legion Stewart Hoover Post #23.
POCATELLO-Christian Hatton, 85, passed away Thursday morning August 4, 2011 at a local care facility in Pocatello form natural causes.
There will be a Private Graveside Service only. Services are under the care and direction of Colonial Funeral Home 233-1500.

Our beautiful, loving and vivacious daughter, sister, mother, auntie and friend, Lana Nicole Rosalez, 39, moved on to her next adventure on July 30, 2011.
Lana was born May 2, 1972, in Blackfoot to Bacilio and Elaine Broncho Rosalez and lived her life to the fullest all the way through.
Worth B. McNeel, 90, a longtime resident of Blackfoot, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011 in Pocatello.
He was born in Afton, Wyo., on Feb. 19, 1921, to Wallace Granville McNeel and Mary Barber McNeel. He was the oldest of four children. He had two sisters, Clara (Blaine) Linford and Madeline (Frank) Hoopes and a brother, George (Vernice) McNeel.
At the age of six he started school at the Etna, Wyo., Grade School. He went on to the Star Valley High School in Afton, Wyo. He graduated in June 1940.
Jason A. Wood, 42, a lifetime Blackfoot resident, passed away Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Blackfoot on Sept. 15, 1968, to Dale and Edith Mae Wood. He attended school in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School.
On Sept. 15, 1990, he married Charee L Cowden, in Blackfoot. They had two sons, Justin and John.
Jason had worked for Nonpariel, raised cattle and driven truck. He currently owned and operated Wood Recycling.
He enjoyed riding street bikes, fishing, camping and being outdoors.
Lana Nicole Rosalez, formerly of Blackfoot, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011, as the result of a fall in Caribou County. Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.
Eva June Vogt Bell, 82, a retired secretary and 49-year resident of Las Vegas, Nev., passed away Thursday May, 5, 2011.
She was born June 9, 1928, in Groveland to Fredrick H. And Mary Farnces Bingham Vogt. She graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1945 and attended the University of Idaho and Idaho State College.
Juneâ€™s hobby was playing Bridge.
She is survived by her daughter, Pauline Bell, Las Vegas, Nev.; and nieces Kathy (Greg) Mercille, Federal Way, Wash.; and Claire (Rufus) Clark, Wauna, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruth Jeanne Vogt Mercille.
Leslie Owen Bailey, 65, of Blackfoot passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011, at
Portneuf Regional Medical Center in Pocatello after suffering a major heart attack.
Leslie was born Sept. 1, 1945, in Van Buren, Mo., to Ralph Roy Bailey and Margaret Helen Liebst Bailey. Leslie was raised in Van Buren and lived throughout Missouri until moving to Blackfoot in 2001.
On Nov. 10, 1967, Leslie married Shirley Faye Trammell in Randolph, Mo. Together they had seven children.
Mary Lou McLaughlin Jones, 104, was born Aug. 4, 1907, in Salt Lake City, Utah,
the daughter of Willard and Pricilla Rose Talbot McLaughlin. She was the fourth of six children.
The family moved to Pocatello where Mary attended schools.
She married Leonard Elmer Jones on June 19, 1924, in American Falls.Their
marriage was solemnized in The Salt Lake LDS Temple in March 1944.
Three children were born to this union, Mary Louise, Robert Leonard and Thomas Lorenzo.
Lawrence C. Bumgarner, 73, of Shelley, passed away July 28, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 7, 1938, at Shelley to Lawrence Howard Bumgarner and Annie Mae Beasley Bumgarner Olsen. He graduated from Shelley High School and LDS Seminary. He also took classes from LaSalle Extension University in accounting.
Larry joined the Idaho National Guard and served for eight years, leaving as staff sergeant. He also held positions of company supply sergeant and personnel sergeant.
