MAPLETON, Utah ‚ÄĒ Robert Marion Kerr Jr., stalwart, faithful servant, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at his home at the age of 97.¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†
POCATELLO ‚Äď¬†Cecil Allen ‚ÄėBud‚ÄĚ Lish, 86, a longtime resident of Pocatello, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at a local care center following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 2, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Manning-Wheatley Funeral Chapel, 510 N. 12th Ave. with Ed Reese, brother-in-law officiating. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens with military graveside rites provided by the Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard.¬†
Donald Cannon, 69, of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011, at the Bingham Skilled Nursing and Rehab.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home and will be announced.
Joe Trent Caldwell, 30, of Pingree, died April 25, 2011, as a result of complications due to asthma.¬†
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot.¬†The family will meet with friends and family from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2011, at the funeral home and again for one hour prior to service.¬†Interment will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
Fred Keith Merrell, 89, of Neosho, Mo. and formerly of Blackfoot, passed away, Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at the Medicalodge Nursing Home in Neosho, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, at the Blackfoot LDS Stake Center. The family will meet with friends and family from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot and again for one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery.
Robert Marion Kerr Jr., 97, of Mapleton, Utah, and, formerly of Blackfoot, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011, at his home from causes incident to age.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.
Harry Clifford Larson, 89, of Blackfoot passed away April 26, 2011, at Blackfoot Gables Assisted Living with family by his side.
He was born Dec. 16, 1921, in Tekamah, Neb., to Peter Gilbert and Olga Nelson Larson.¬†He grew up on a farm near Craig, Neb., where he graduated from Oakland High School.¬†He entered the Army Air Corps in October 1942 and served his country as part of the 370 Air Service Squadron during World War II, stationed in New Guinea and the Philippines.¬†He received an honorable discharge in January 1946.¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†¬†
ALBANY, Ore. ‚ÄĒ Don C. Lyon of Albany, Ore., passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the age of 84 surrounded by his family.
Don was a longtime resident of Albany where he owned and operated OK Novelty Service and where he and his wife of 62 years, Bonnie, raised their three children.
Don was born and spent his early years in Blackfoot graduating from Blackfoot High School in 1945. He worked shearing sheep, ranching and working for U&I Sugar Company.
Wanna Mae Williams, 87 of Blackfoot, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at her home.
She was born Sept. 2, 1923, in Shelley, the daughter of Lawrence Spencer ‚ÄúDick‚ÄĚ and RDella Mae Johnson Plant.
Wanna was raised and educated in the Blackfoot area.
She married Paul Maurice Williams, Sr. on Nov. 23, 1940, in Reno, Nev.
Wanna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a visiting teacher.
She enjoyed making quilts and visiting with people, especially her family.

He was born Dec. 17, 1980, in Idaho Falls, the son of Brent and RaNae Caldwell. He attended Snake River schools and graduated from Snake River High School in 1999, where he was a member of the FFA. He attended college at Idaho State University and studied mechanical engineering. Joe was employed by S.M. Stoller where he was a teamster for the Idaho CERCLA Disposal Facility.
