Christina Maria Morales, 42, of Blackfoot passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
She was born April 7, 1970 in Blackfoot to Arturo Carrizales Morales and Carolina Nuñez Morales.She attended Blackfoot High School and received her associates degree from ISU.
She married Juan Rodriguez and they were later divorced.
Christina was baptized and raised Catholic, but later joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She worked in Blackfoot at the Cheese Factory, Car Quest Auto Parts and also for American Linen.
January 2nd
Janet Rowbury, 68, of Blackfoot passed away December 28, 2012 at her home from Cancer. She was under the care of Encompass Hospice.
She was born June 5, 1944 in Rigby, Idaho to Vernon Austin Browning and Gladys Louise Strupp.
She enjoyed being with her family, working in her flower garden and going to garage sales.

Gordon Hutchings Durney, 102, passed away in his home under the care of his family and the Blackfoot Home Health and Hospice on December 27, 2012, in Blackfoot, Idaho.Â

Rexford Dewey Christensen, born in Blackfoot June 3, 1924, died in Orofino on Dec. 29, 2012 of natural causes.
When he was a year old his mother carried him a block down the street to visit her friend who had that day given birth to Edith Clark. Rex met her the day she was born, and would marry 19 years later in 1944. They were married for 68 years.
At the end of World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps as a radio operator on a B-29. He worked for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service for over 20 years and as a police chief for Amtrak for five, retiring in 1982 to Blackfoot.
           Janet Gay Cutler Nacke, 76, of Fort Hall, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 at
Pocatello Care and Rehab in Pocatello.       Â

Lucius Edward Gardner, 29, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away December 27, 2012 at his home.
           He was born March 17, 1983 in Wichita, Kansas to Ronald Blake Gardner and Sandra Jo Robinson Elison. Shortly after his first birthday, his parents separated and Blackfoot, Idaho became his new home where he spent the majority of his life.
           He attended school in the Snake River School District and earned his GED at Idaho State University. He furthered his education through on-line courses.
Diane Turner Killpack, 74, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012, in St. George, Utah.
Diane was born October 14, 1938 to Orin and Cleo Spackman Turner, in Rockford, Idaho. She was the oldest of three children. She grew up in Rockford and Firth, attending school, helping on the family farm and working at Bingham Co-op.

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah – Aileen Young Uriona, 83, passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 with her family by her side.
Aileen was born in Pocatello on June 18, 1929, a daughter of Terry William and Afton Vermina Jensen Young. She graduated from Firth High School.
Aileen married her sweetheart, Joseph Boyd Uriona, on Jan. 24, 1947.
She enjoyed doing genealogy especially family history of the Basque culture. Aileen worked in the accounting industry for 47 years. She enjoyed spending summers in Island Park with her family.
Darwin Peter Madsen, 86, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his home in Bountiful, Utah.

He was born August 30, 1926 in Blackfoot, Idaho the son of Peter R. and Martha C. Petersen Madsen. Married Helen Merkley, June 17, 1950.

Pete served in the US Navy during WW II. He was a pipefitter/welder in the construction business and was a member of local 648 of the United Association of Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry, he was also a member of the American Legion Post 23; Elks BPOE Lodge 1416.

Ann Lucille Jones, 80, of Groveland, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at her home.
           Lucille was born December 15, 1932 in Preston, Idaho, to Gale Cyrus and Annorah Taylor Andreasen. When she was young she lived in Nevada, Idaho and Utah, due to the construction work of her father.
           Following graduation from high school she married John E. Jones on June 26, 1948 in Hailey, Idaho. After their marriage they made their home in Utah and then moved to Blackfoot.
John preceded her in death on January 31, 1997.
