James Ronald Hastings, 66, of Basalt passed away Nov. 28, 2010, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at the Firth Stake Center (823 North 675 East) in Basalt.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 to 10:40 a.m. at the church.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley. Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.nalderfuneralhome.com.
Billie Edmondson passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 at her home, peacefully in her sleep.
Billie was born April 6, 1949, in Hereford, Texas, to Ezra Foster and Lela Pearl Penrod Foster. Billie was the fourth of nine children.
She married Edgar Edmondson II on Sept. 26, 1970, in California.
Billie moved to Blackfoot two years ago from Twin Falls to be closer to her daughter and her family. Her grandkids greatly loved their granny and spending time with her. She lived in many places throughout her life and enjoyed going on vacations with her daughter and family.
Dave A. âBussâ Chamberlain, 74, of Blackfoot, passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at the Renaissance Assisted Living in Pocatello.
He was born Nov. 11, 1936 in Blackfoot, the son of Arvil P. Chamberlain and Enda G. Going Chamberlain.
Dave lived in Mackay; Blackfoot; San Diego, Calif., and in the Pahsimeroi Valley.
He graduated from Blackfoot High School. He joined the U.S. Marines in 1954 and served until 1956. He was then transferred to the Marine Corps Reserve until 1962.
Barbara Ann Grant, 59, Blackfoot, passed away, Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Bingham Memorial Hospital from an apparent heart attack.
She was born Nov. 22, 1951, in Pocatello to Ernest L. Sorrell and Dorothy Louise Cates Orders.
She married Jimmie L. Grant on Nov. 24, 1969 at American Falls.
Barbara was a wonderful wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin.
She was very family-oriented and enjoyed family activities and reunions. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, crafts, genealogy, computer games and was always involved in her grandchildrenâs activities and events.
Connie Kimball Wahlen, 54, of Aberdeen passed away Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.
Connie was born Nov. 5, 1956, in Oakland, Calif., to Clisbee Blaine and Gloria Greene Kimball.
She attended and graduated from Monte Vista High School in Danville, Calif. After graduation she attended Brigham Young University where she received her bachelorâs degree in accounting.
While attending college she met Kim Wahlen and they were married on May 12, 1979, in the Oakland, California LDS Temple.
Ralph Hoopes Stantliff, 86, of Blackfoot, passed away Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at his home.
He was born March 24, 1924, in Mountain Home to Eldridge and Edith E. Hoopes Stantliff. He attended school in Mountain Home. He has lived up and down the Snake River Valley, mostly in Blackfoot.
Ralph served in the United States Army medical corps during World War II.
He married Jessie Dirks; they were later divorced.
He worked in potato warehouses in various cities. He loved helping others and helping at the Senior Center.
Ralph enjoyed dancing and visiting with everyone at the senior center.
McKeon James Whitten, born Oct. 1, 2010, returned home to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father, Nov. 24, 2010, due to difficulties from a heart condition. McKeon was the third son of Michael and Kaylene (Tucker) Whitten.
Our sweet little boy was a great blessing to our family. Although he was with us only a short time, he touched the lives of many. McKeon enjoyed being home with his family and being held by his older brothers. We are very grateful for the brief time we were able to spend with him and look forward to when our family can be together again.
Dave Chamberlain, 74, of Blackfoot, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at the Renaissance Assisted Living center in Pocatello.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling, Blackfoot, and will be announced.

It is quieter in our lives today; the organ and piano are hushed. The music from gifted fingers and a tender loving heart is now being shared with a Celestial Choir. Sweet, charitable Alice died Nov. 27, 2010, at her home, at 3016 W. Cedar Lane in American Falls. She was 80 years old.
Hazel Jensen, 90, of Blackfoot passed away Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 at the home of her daughter, Tami Van Orden, surrounded by her family.
Hazel was born July 2, 1920, to Horace Leslie Hale and Agnes Pearl Pope in St. Anthony, Fremont, Idaho. She attended school in Cascade, Mont., graduating from Cascade High School on May 27, 1938. She continued her education at The California College of Mortuary Science, graduating on June 24, 1943. Hazel then worked at the Croxford Mortuary in Great Falls, Mont.
