ARCO â€” Patricia Ellen Guertin, 58, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 at the Lost Rivers Medical Center in Arco.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at noon at the Anderson Family Funeral Home, 2555 N. Highway 93, Arco, with Bishop Todd Perkes officiating.
MESQUITE, Nev. â€” Darrel John Saxton passed away Sept. 25, 2010 in Beaver Dam, Ariz., after an extended illness.
He married Dora Pyper on Dec. 15, 1962. He went to work for UPFE in Pocatello in November of 1966 and retired in November of 2001. Darrel loved to hunt, fish, go four-wheeling and being outdoors. His grandchildren were the light of his life.
Joe H. Rainwater, 87, Pocatello resident passed away at his home following an illness on Sept. 24, 2010.
He was born January 18, 1923 in Porum, Oklahoma to a family of four children, two boys and two girls. He attended school in Porum, Oklahoma, graduating from high school in 1940.
Joe attended Conners State Ag. College, Warner, Oklahoma and O.S.U in 1942 until graduation in 1944. He received his degree in Chemical Engineering. After graduation, Joe was drafted in to the Army and was immediately put into the Navy as a Seaman 1st Class.
POCATELLO â€” Lon William Herbst, 60, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at his home.
Graveside services for Lon will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2010, at the Grove City Cemetery, 1 Willow Drive, with military rites provided by the American Legion Post No. 23.
The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, 238-8000.

Cornell Harold Baxter, Jr, 56, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Friday, September 17, 2010 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He was born March 20, 1954 in Blackfoot, Idaho the son of Cornell Harold Baxter, Sr. and Shirley A. Christensen.
Cornell has lived his entire life in Blackfoot and attended schools in the Blackfoot District.
He married Dee Williams, together they had a daughter, Courtney and then were later divorced.
He was a welder and a member of the Sheet Metals Workers Union. He had worked the last ten years for Industrial Metals.
Vivian W. Dills, 83, a longtime Blackfoot resident passed away peacefully, Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 22,2010, at a local care facility.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Wilks Funeral Home, 211 W. Chubbuck Road, 238-8000.

KUNA â€” Elena Francine Robertson, 69, of Blackfoot, passed away Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010, in Boise with her family by her side. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 24, at the LDS Chapel at 4225 N. Linder Ave., Kuna. Interment will follow the services at Dry Creek Cemetery.
POCATELLO-Lon William Herbst, 60, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at his home.
Lon was born Feb. 1, 1950, to E. Randall and Margie Ireton Herbst in Blackfoot, Idaho.
He attended Groveland Elementary, Blackfoot Junior High, and graduated from Blackfoot High School.
Lon joined the Army in 1969 and served on active duty in Southeast Asia. While serving in the military he received several awards.
Lon married Kristina Alleen Jenkins on Jan. 18,1982, and they were later sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple.
Janice H. Thurman of Blackfoot, 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, while surrounded by family.Â
She was born on Feb. 12, 1939, in Blackfoot, to Robert and Velma Hansen.Â With the exception of one year in Salt Lake City, she lived her entire life in Blackfoot, where she was known by many.Â
Alma Jemmett Reid, 88, passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010, at her home near Blackfoot.
She was born Dec. 21, 1921, in Shelley to Clifford and Daphne Webb Jemmett.Â She was the middle child of a loving family of four girls and five boys.
Alma was raised along Cedar Creek in the Blackfoot River Mountains.Â She boarded part time in Firth to attend high school, and then went on to business college in Salt Lake City, Utah.Â She worked for the Navy Depot in Clearfield, Utah, until returning to Idaho to marry her cowboy sweetheart, Fred Reid, on Dec. 27, 1942.Â
