Juanita Gladys Reynwald Gruvman, 96, of Blackfoot, passed away Oct. 24, 2010, at her daughterâ€™s home.
Gladys was born Nov. 1, 1913, in Idaho Falls to John Henry Reynwald and Juanita Sarah Reed Reynwald.Â She attended schools in New Sweden and Dewey.
She married Anton Ivan Gruvman on Aug, 10, 1932, in Logan, Utah.Â Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 26, 1942.Â They lived in Idaho Falls; Sloat, Calif.; Vallejo, Calif.; and Pocatello.Â Gladys worked at the Westbank Motel and Roger Brothers Potatoes. Ivan preceded her in death on March 26, 1983.
Carl Andrew Johannesen, 90, of Blackfoot passed away at his home Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, from causes incident to age.
He was born Nov. 7, 1919, to Julius Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Rice Johannesen in Rupert. He passed away on Oct. 22, 2010, just a few weeks short of his 91st birthday.
He spent most of his younger years in the Idaho Falls area, graduating from Ririe High School and the University of Idaho.Â
Marvin Arnold Jess, 80, of Blackfoot passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.
Marvin was born Sept. 1, 1930 in Oreana, Idaho, to George Marvin and Zora Cable Jess.Â Marvin was raised and educated in Grandview.Â He continued on to Idaho State University and graduated with a bachelorâ€™s degree.Â He spent time in Grandview, Gooding, Twin Falls, Caldwell and Blackfoot.
Marvin served his country with the United States Navy in the Korean Conflict.
Braeden Shae Mortensen was a sophomore at Shelley High School. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where he was recently ordained a priest.
He enjoyed sports and played football and basketball. He loved the outdoors enjoying camping, hunting, fishing and anything that would let him be in the mountains.
Marvin Jess, 80 of Blackfoot passed away October 24, 2010 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital.
Services are pending and will be announced by the Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
Carl Johannesen, 90, of Blackfoot passed away at his home Friday, October 22, 2010 from causes incident to age.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. October 28, 2010 at the Rose LDS Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
Family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot and one hour prior to services at the Church.
Braeden Mortensen, 16, of Shelley, passed away October 22, 2010 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Shelley South Stake Center (675 South Milton) in Shelley.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 26 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley and Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:40 a.m. at the church.

Vivian Woolley Dills, 83, passed away Sept. 22, 2010, in Blackfoot.
Vivian was born Aug. 7, 1927, in Denver, Colo., the only child of Adrian Rumel Woolley and Vivian Genette Sperry.
Her family moved to Pocatello where Adrian owned and operated Mountain Electric for many years.
Vivian attended public schools and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1945.
After graduation she attended Woodbury College in Los Angeles, majoring in Fashion Merchandising. She returned to Pocatello and married Paul Dills, her high school sweetheart in 1947.
Maggie Ann Roland, 28, of Blackfoot, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at the Lifecare Center in Idaho Falls, from complications of Prader-Willis Syndrome.
Maggie was born August 22, 1982 in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Duane and Carla Irene Hoffhine Roland. She moved with her family to Blackfoot before she turned one and has resided in Blackfoot since. She attended school in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School in 2001.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was happy to be able to attend the temple on June 5, 2010.
Sadie Beth Gardner Sydenham, 81, of Lehi, Utah, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at the Greenwood Manor in Lehi, surrounded by her loving family. Sadie was born Feb. 13, 1929, to Samuel LaBoyd and Mary Irene Carter Gardner in Thomas. She was raised in Blackfoot, attending schools in the Blackfoot School District and was a graduate of Blackfoot High School.
Sadie lived in many different places, including the San Francisco Bay area; Boise; Carson City, Nev.; Sparks, Nev.; Monroe, Utah; and the last three years in Lehi, Utah.
