Margaret Hillam Hansen, 84, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at her home from cancer.
She was born Feb. 8, 1930 in Marysville, Idaho, the daughter of George Marvin Hillam and Laura Mae Lemmon.
She grew up in Marysville and Ashton, Idaho.Â She attended elementary school in Marysville, Ashton and then at Madison High School.
Margaret served a LDS mission when she was 21 years old to the New England States.Â When she returned, she married her sweetheart, Alvon Jerry Hansen in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on April 11, 1952.
Miranda Lee Ann Morgan, 31, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at the Emerald House in Blackfoot, Idaho.
She was born Oct. 11, 1982 in Rexburg, Idaho, the daughter of Thelma Scott and Delbert Lee Duchscher.
She lived in the Blackfoot area for most of her life and attended Blackfoot High School.
Miranda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She liked mud digging, fishing, listening to music and spending time with her children and family.
Ronald Wayne Reed, 70 of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born Feb. 7, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of George T. and Edith LaVerne Moon Reed. Ronald was raised in the Snake River area and graduated from Snake River High School in 1962. After graduation he went to an electrical school in Arizona. He then moved to the Seattle, Wash. areaÂ and worked in an aircraft plant for Boeing.
Dale W. Sorensen, 62,
Dale Walter Sorensen 62, of Leslie, Idaho passed away from a heart attack Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at Sedgewick Medical Center in Big Springs, Neb.
Dale was born in Blackfoot, Idaho to Harris (Doc)
and Marie Sorensen on Sept. 20, 1951. He was
raised in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High
School in 1969.
Dale worked for Robison Roofing for many years and
held various other jobs throughout his life. He was a long haul truck driver for Doug Andrus at the time of his death.
He married longtime friend Gay Lynne Bauer June
Shirley Young, 72, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at her home.
She was born March 24, 1941 in Pocatello, Idaho the daughter of Charles Smith and Eliza Orgill Smith.
Shirley attended school in Fort Hall, Pingree and graduated from Pocatello High School.
She married Lavern Robert Frank and they were later divorced.Â On Dec. 30, 1975, she married Earl Young in Twin Falls, Idaho.Â He preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 2013.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Susan Rae Neff Waldhalm, 60, of Blackfoot passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at her home.
Susan was born Nov. 10, 1953 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Charles (Karl) Neff and Muriel Rayola Atwood, the second of five children.Â She graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1972 and attended beauty school in Blackfoot.Â
In 1994 Susan married Joe Waldhalm in Billings, Mont. where they lived until 2011 when she moved back to Blackfoot.Â They have been together for 40 years. Â
On Sunday, Feb. 16 Georgie Margene Parsons Phillips passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter in Blackfoot following a short battle with cancer.Â
Maria D. Lindsay, 57, of Blackfoot passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 after a courageous battle with breast cancer, with her husband by her side. Â
Maria was born July 14, 1956 in New York, New York to Mark Anthony Dondero and Ann Mangini Dondero.Â She was raised on Long Island and had a wonderful childhood.Â She attended mostly Catholic schools and excelled in whatever she did.Â She received an MBA from St. Johnâ€™s University.
Barbra Grace Garrett, 53, of Blackfoot passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at her home.
Barbra was born March 12, 1960 in Boise.Â Her parents are Bob S. Garrett and the late Catherine Ferrin Garrett.Â She grew up in Pocatello and Fort Hall, and spent her adult life in Blackfoot.Â She graduated from Highland High School in 1977.Â She then graduated from the Police Academy in 1981 and continued her education, getting her associate's degree from Eastern Idaho Technical College in computers. Â
In 1997 Barbra married Martin Bustamante in Elko, Nev. Â
Samuel W. Cornwall, 79, of Blackfoot passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 at his home.
Samuel was born Jan. 2, 1935 in Inkom to Lavern Cornwall and Vera Geneva Siler.Â He was raised in Idaho, but lived in California, Texas, Michigan, Massachusetts and in Germany over the years.
He married Catherine Blenkle on May 14, 1954 in Pocatello and later had their marriage solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Samuel was in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, serving in Vietnam and Greenland.
Catherine passed away in 2005.
