Betty M. Sailer, 82, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014, surrounded by her family. Betty was born April 26, 1932 to Iverson and Lula Crum in Bluffs, Ill.Â
After graduation from high school she started work as a secretary.Â Later when she married, she became a homemaker and mother.Â As a wife in a military family, she moved around, living in various parts of the U.S.Â She spent her life raising her children and later worked part-time in various jobs.Â
John LaMar Call, 81, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at his home.
He was born Dec. 29, 1932 in Chesterfield, Idaho the son of John Balfour and Una Bowman Call.
John grew up in Chesterfield, Blackfoot and Idaho Falls, graduating from North Gem High School in 1952.
He served in the United States Army in Germany from 1954-1955.Â He was honorably discharged in June 1962.
He married Barbara Jean Ellis on July 31, 1959 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.Â They were later divorced.Â On Oct. 25, 1993 he married Clara Birchell in Blackfoot, Idaho.
LaRue Boyack passed away peacefully on May 18, 2014, of natural causes and in the comfort of her loving and caring family and members of the Bingham Memorial Hospital.Â
LaRue was born Feb. 17, 1935, in Arco, Idaho, the daughter of Eva and Rufus Searle.Â Â She united in marriage to Glen (Roy) Boyack on June 20, 1953.Â
In 1997, LaRue retired from the State of Idaho from a long career as a cook.
LaRue thoroughly loved watching sports, especially when her children and grandchildren were playing.Â She also loved camping with her family.Â
Frank John Bartausky, 61, lost his fight on Friday, May 16, 2014 in Murray, Utah due to complications associated with a heart and kidney transplant.
Frank was born on Jan. 3, 1953, at Eaton Maternity Center in Shelley, Idaho.Â He was the third of eight children born to Ed and Rita Bartausky.Â He was the biggest baby of all, tipping the scales at 9 lb. 14 oz.,Â a Gentle Giant.
Dell R. Watts, 90, of Blackfoot, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born May 24, 1923 in Rexburg, Idaho, the son of Hyrum Franklin and Elizabeth Freeman Watts.
Dell graduated from Madison High School and attended Utah State Agricultural College in Logan.
He served as lieutenant in the United States Naval Air Corps.Â He served for four years as a naval aviator flying the P51 Mustang during World War II. He trained and served in the Pacific Theatre.
Geraldine May Baker Doore, 76, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at her home with her family by her side. She was two days shy of her 77th birthday.
She was born on May 16, 1937 in Pocatello, Idaho to Joe Baker and Mary Broncho. She was the eldest of their children.
Verlin Bert Bowman, 86, of Blackfoot, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Bingham Memorial Skilled Nursing and Rehab.
Verlin was born Nov. 18, 1927, in Rockford, Idaho, to Bertram M. and Verna Barnes Bowman.Â He was the oldest child and had sisters: Lila (married to LaVar Murdock), and Cleo (married to Doyle Jones).Â
His father passed away when Verlin was 12 years old and his mother passed away one day after his 14th birthday.Â After their deaths, he lived with his grandmother, Bertha Bowman and later with his uncle and aunt, Clarence â€śFizzâ€ť and Ruby Parsons.
ElmaÂ 'Fuzz'Â Jensen, 79
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend Elma â€śFuzzâ€ť Jensen, 79, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Sept. 15, 1934 in Arco, Idaho, the daughter of Joseph and Ethel Mathie Winmill.
Elma attended grade school at Riverside and Pingree and high school at Snake River High.
On June 17, 1953, she married her best friend, Weldon Jensen in Blackfoot.Â Next month they would have celebrated their 61st anniversary. Â
Our beloved mother, Fredrice Smith Morgan, 94, passed away 6 May 2014 at her home due to natural causes.
She was born to Edith Mitchell and Samuel Franklin Smith on 8 Feb. 1920 in Ora, Idaho. She was the eighth child with two sisters and five brothers.
She attended Moreland schools and graduated at age 16.
Lena Hall Robertson, 84, of Stockton, Calif. passed away at her home on April 22, 2014.
She was born to the late Harvey and Hannah Hall on Oct. 5, 1929 in Hurricane, Utah.Â She graduated from Hurricane High School in 1948. Later she attended Dixie College, University of Utah and then transferred to Idaho Falls Nursing program and completed the Registered Nursing program.Â Later she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Weber State College.
