Lovell J. Callister, 88, of Blackfoot, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 at his home.
Lovell was born August 21, 1923 in Moreland to Orson Pratt and Annie Francella Jones Callister. He attended Groveland Elementary and graduated from Blackfoot High School.
He has lived in the Blackfoot area most of his life, living a few years in Merced, Calif.. He attended the University of Idaho in Moscow for two years and then transferred to Utah State, earning a degree in Ag Economics.
Marian E. Packham, 83, a lifetime resident of Blackfoot, passed away on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012 at Bingham Memorial Hospital, with her loving husband by her side. Marian was born Jan, 12, 1929 in Blackfoot to Delynn Hepworth and Gladys Chamberlain. She attended school in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School and then spent one year at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
On Dec. 28, 1948 Marian married Charles â€śBudâ€ť Packham in Blackfoot. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Wendell Stander, 87, of Blackfoot passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 at his home.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at the Thomas 4th Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Tracy Hawker conducting.Â Family will meet with friends and relatives from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot and for one hour prior to services at the church.Â Interment will follow at the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.Â

Michael Lawrence Lambert, 58 year old Idaho Falls resident, formerly of Blackfoot, died Saturday, January 21, 2012, at his home following an extended illness.
He was born October 12, 1953, in Blackfoot, Idaho, the son of Richard J. Lambert and Carol Lee Merkley.
He lived most of his life in Blackfoot where he attended school and grew up working with his father on the family farm. It was during these early years that his love for the soil, crops and farming were developed.
LeRoy Del Brooks, of Blackfoot, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at his home from emphysema.
He was born July 31, 1938 in Cascade to James Henry and Lois Marvel Prest Brooks.Â He spent his early years in Council, later moving to Prairie City, Ore., with his family.Â He graduated from high school there.Â Following graduation he joined the United States Navy, being stationed in New London, Conn.
Orris Ray Eyler, 83, of Blackfoot and a longtime resident of Pocatello, passed away at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at the Bingham Extended Care Facility in Blackfoot.
Orris was born to Orris Ray Eyler Sr and Bernita Middleton Eyler. He lived most of his life in Pocatello and was active in aviation; being a pilot and owning his own plane. He also enjoyed collecting antique guns and built many boats.
He graduated from Idaho State University in auto body repair and aircraft mechanics. He served the US Army during the Korean Conflict for two years in Germany.
Eugene Henry Gabert, 83, of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at Bingham Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and following a long and extended battle with severe complications from diabetes.
Gene was born the last of nine children Dec. 22, 1928 at the family homestead in Aberdeen to David and Emily [Emilie or Amelia] Gabert, formerly of Consta/Svastopol, Romania; David was the son of Andrew [Andreus] Gabert and Emily the daughter of Jacob Schweigert, born 1846, Borodino, Russia; David and Emily settled around 1911 at Flat Top, then Aberdeen.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 at Hawker Funeral Home. The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012 and again for one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Eva Luella Nelson, 95, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Bingham Memorial Extended Care in Blackfoot, Idaho.
Eva was born February 22, 1916 in Teton Idaho to Charles Noah Tuckett and Evelyn Bird.Â She attended school in Hibbard, Idaho and Madison High School in Rexburg, Idaho.Â She lived in Hibbard, Teton and Idaho Falls, Idaho, living in the Wapello area since 1953.
On September 29, 1937 Eva married Francis Nelson in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Â He preceded her in death in March of 2001.
