Marilyn Fackrell Barrus, 76, of Firth passed away Tuesday, Nov.15, 2011 at
her home. She passed away peacefully with her sweetheart by her side.
Marilyn was born March 23, 1935 in Blackfoot to Parsons LaMonde Fackrell and Ida Marie Hansen. She attended school in Blackfoot.
On June 11, 1952 Marilyn married LaMar Noble Barrus in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Together they had six children, Kanin, Guy, Nanett, Steven, Jeffrey and David.
CHEHALIS, Wash. â Jeffrey Lee Alverson a loving husband, father, and friend âpassed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on Nov. 10, 2011, at the age of 46.
Jeff was born Jan. 20, 1965 in Olympia, Wash., to Ray and Gloria Alverson, and was the youngest of four children. He attended Lacey High School, and went on to attend college at Idaho State University, where he graduated with a degree in business. There, he met Julie Ann Norton, the love and light of his life. They married in the fall of 1987, and their marriage was later sealed in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple on Nov. 12, 1994.
Clara Lee âLucyâ Jensen, 74, of Blackfoot, passed away on Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from complications of a stroke.Â Â Â Â Â Â
Lucy was born on March 27, 1937 in Soda Springs to Fredrick and Jane Johnson Kern.Â She was raised in the Soda Springs area and graduated from Soda Springs High School.Â
Dorothy Hope Blaser Samac was born on April 15, 1928 in Twin Falls to Robert and Ina Blaser.Â Hope passed away on Nov. 10, 2011 at the Renaissance Assisted Living Center in Blackfoot.Â She was 83 years old.
Hope married Michael Samac Oct. 29, 1955 and together, they owned and operated Samacâs Jewelry in downtown Twin Falls. They retired in 2003.
Frances Caddell Byrd Brown, 93, of Tracy, Calif., and formerly of Pingree passed awayÂ Nov. 10, 2011.
Frances was born Aug. 31, 1918 at Bismarck, North Dakota, to Walter Lee Caddell and Bridget Marie Fogarty Caddell.Â When about four years old she moved with her family to Iron Mountain, Mich., living there until she was about eight years old. The family then moved to Rapid City, South Dakota, where she graduated from high school in 1937.
Clara L. Jensen, 74, of Blackfoot passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.
CHEHALIS, Wash. â Jeffrey Lee Alverson, a loving husband, father, and friend passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on Nov. 10, 2011, at the age of 46.
Funeral services will be on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center, 2195 Jackson Hwy, Chehalis, Wash. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church prior to services. Graveside services will be held in Mountainview Cemetery in Pocatello on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at 1 p.m.
FORT HALL â Gloria Navo Moore, 67, passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah on Nov. 11, 2011.
Viewing will be held on Monday, Nov. 14, at her residence on Sandy Road. Burial will be on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Gibson Cemetery. Home funeral arrangements are under the care of the family.
Ardith Ogden Cammack, a 73-year-old Blackfoot resident, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah following a long illness.
She was born Dec. 9, 1937, in Blackfoot, the daughter of Arthur Bobkin Ogden and Helen Parks Ogden.
She is a lifelong resident of the Blackfoot area, having attended schools and graduating from Snake River High School.
Reva B. Corbett, 92, born March 8, 1919, to Asa and Winnifred Baird, passed away Nov 6, 2011 in Blackfoot.Â
Reva was born in Riverside and grew up in Firth, graduating from Firth High School. Reva went to school and became a nurse.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Â When she was 21 she served a mission for the church in the New England States. In her later years, she served two more missions, one in New Mexico, and the second in Salt Lake City in the Geneology Dept.Â Â
