Colleen Ricks Wren Wood, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at a local health care facility surrounded by her family.
She was born Nov. 28, 1934, in Blackfoot, Idaho, the daughter of Theron F. Wren andÂ Eltha Maria Ricks Wren.
She grew up in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School. Â
She was married to Merlin Eugene Wood who preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 2010.Â She was an endowed member of the LDS Church and also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Marilyn, 63, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014, after a battle with cancer.Â â€¨Marilyn was born Feb. 10, 1951 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Ross and LaFay Chandler.Â She spent her childhood years in Sterling until the family moved to Wapello.â€¨She married Robert Walters on July 25, 1968, and they had two children, Ricky and Connie.Â Robert passed away on Sept.
Pearl Poog, 85, of Fort Hall, Idaho passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at her home.Â
Pearl was born Dec. 13, 1928 in Fort Hall, Idaho to Peter Poog and Alice Deepwater. Â
She attended school at Tyhee Grade School.Â Then she was hospitalized in Gooding for 10 years and got her education there.
She worked at Lamb Weston, the Fort Hall Blouse Factory and as a pen assembler for Bic Pen Factory.
In her free time she enjoyed traveling, going to the casinos in Wendover, being outdoors having picnics and watching sports.Â She loved watching her grandson, Devon, play basketball.
Paul Hamilton Kelly, 76, of Idaho Falls, passed away on July 8, 2014, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.Â He had been residing at The Gables of Ammon Assisted Living Center.
Lynn Dale Wiklund of Firth, Idaho passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 in Idaho Falls at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in the presence of his loving wife, friends, and family.
Lynn was born August 5, 1962, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, at the Sacred Heart Hospital, to Dale and Carol Wiklund of Firth, Idaho. He spent his early childhood on a farm west of Roberts, Idaho, and then moved with his family to the Wiklund family farm east of Firth, Idaho, where he lived until his untimely death.
Randy Darhl Hughes, 58, of Blackfoot, passed away July 2, 2014 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Randy was born November 18, 1955 in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Darhl Hughes and Anna Richard Hughes Landon.Â He was raised and attended school in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School in 1974.Â Randy was a lifetime Blackfoot resident.
On February 18, 1977 he married his soul mate, Brenda Summers.Â Three children were born to this union,Â Randy Jr., Â Jessica Ann, and Ryan B. His family was his world.
Dolores L. Diehl (nĂ©e Domres), 86, of Chicago, beloved wife of the late Richard E. Diehl, passed away on June 29, 2014. Dear mother of Steven (the late Donna Ficcardi), Darlene (Karl) Nilsson, Linda (Lloyed Jr., M.D.) Calloway, and Phillip (Ruth). Loving grandmother of Alicia (George) Orr and Sara and Michael Calloway. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents Lillian K. (nĂ©e Bina) and George H. Domres, and her brothers Wilmer, Walter, Edward and George. Family and friends will gather for a graveside memorial at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E.
Judy Ann Twitchell Hiatt, 64, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away June 29, 2014 at her daughters home.
Judy was born September 15, 1949 in Ogden, Utah to Dale and Eileen Twitchell.Â She graduated from Pocatello High School.
On June 1, 1967 Judy married Lester Hiatt Sr in Odgen, Utah.Â They had three children, Lester Jr, Angela and Cody.Â They were later divorced after many years of marriage.
Bradley Otteson Birch, 55, passed away Sunday June 29, 2014 at his home in the loving care of his daughter, Tiffany Dillon and his wife Carrie after a valiant battle with cancer.
He was born Feb. 23, 1959 to Paul Albert and Joyce Otteson Birch. His parents divorced and he and his mother lived with her parents at their farm at Moody Creek north of Rexburg, Idaho until age six when they moved to Idaho Falls where they lived until he married, eventually making his home in the Goshen area.
Randy Lee Ellsworth (Sheepdog), passed away from an extended illness, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the age of 55.Â
Randy was a Shoshone-Bannock tribal member and a lifelong resident of the Fort Hall Indian Reservation, Idaho.
Randy was born July 19, 1958 to the late Donner Bernard Ellsworth, Sr. and Evelyn Mae George Ellsworth.Â He was the seventh of children born to Donner and Evelyn.
He lived at the family home on Ellsworth Road with his brother, Nathan, and daughter, Maria Ellsworth; together they continued raising cattle and horses.Â
