Robert Don (Bob) Jones, 70, of Boise died peacefully on Jan. 18, 2013 of complications due to leukemia.
Robert was born Dec. 31. 1942 in Woodland, Utah to Don P and June Jones. In 1954 the family, which eventually totaled 4 boys and 4 girls, moved to Moreland. He graduated from Snake River High School in 1961. He then served as a missionary in the Eastern States Mission. In 1965 he was drafted into the Army during Vietnam.
Amy Michelle Rodriguez, age 31, of Pocatello, returned to her Father in Heaven on Thursday (Jan. 17, 2013) at Portneuf Medical Center.
She was a beloved wife of Jose Rodriguez. They were married on Aug. 29, 2009 in Pocatello. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Amy was born in Pocatello on July 18, 1981 and grew up in Blackfoot and Pocatello. She went to Blackfoot High School. She was the daughter of Allen York and Terri Palmer and stepdaughter of Kyle Palmer.
Leo Thomas Cerino, 74, of Blackfoot passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at The Willows in Blackfoot.
Â Leo was born July 6, 1938 to Columbo Cerino and Esther Judith Madzeweyu.Â Leo was raised in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School.Â He attended barber school in Dallas, Texas, and moved to Arizona where he lived for over 40 years, with his companion, Agnes Soliz, before returning home to live in Idaho.
Â Leo married Gay Cutler and theyÂ divorced.Â He later married Joyce Ballard and they later divorced.
Michael â€śJoeâ€ť Lusk, 65, of Blackfoot, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at the Portneuf Medical Center from complications of cancer.
He was born Feb. 8, 1947 at Pocatello to Ralph Bailey and BernaDeane Brower Lusk.Â Joe was raised in the Arbon Valley and attended school in Pocatello, graduating from Pocatello High School.Â He has lived in Arbon Valley, Pocatello and Blackfoot.
Joe joined the United States Navy in 1966; he served in the Vietnam War and was stationed at Cam Ranh Bay.Â Following his four-year tour of duty he was honorably discharged.
Joyce Derlene Wallace, 77 of Carpenter, Wyo., died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the Life Care Center in Cheyenne.
She was born Oct. 29, 1935 in Pueblo, Colo., and had lived in Carpenter since 1998.
Joyce was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed painting.
Jeraldine T. Duncan, 74, of San Tan Valley, AZ, formally of Blackfoot ID. passed away on January 8, 2013 in Gilbert, AZ. Born in Brigham City, UT to Floyd and Ardella (Nelson) Turner, Jerry arrived on November 3, 1938. She was the oldest of seven children. Her siblings were Rodger, Rayola, Alina, Edward, Howard, and Lana Turner.
She worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Arnell Drug and Wal-Mart in Blackfoot Id. until she retired in 1994. Jerry will be remembered as a great fisherman, an avid gardener, and her craft creations. She did what she wanted when she wanted.
Donald Wayne Wood, 60, of Blackfoot passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at his home, due to complications from dementia and Alzheimerâ€™s.
Â Donald was born April 12, 1952 in Blackfoot to Daniel Claude and Josephine Lewis Wood.
Â He grew up in the Blackfoot area, living in Fort Hall, Thomas and Blackfoot.Â He graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1970.Â He then attended Ricks College and received his bachelorâ€™s degree from Idaho State University.
Riggin 'Big Rig' Glenn Wright, 18-month infant
Â Riggin passed from this earthly life into the arms of a loving Heavenly Father on Jan. 10, 2013.
Â Riggin was born June 30, 2011 in Idaho Falls.Â He joined the family of Glenn and Linda Wright five weeks after his birth.Â Riggin struggled with several physical and mental disabilities and their effects.Â Riggin was a pure joy to be around, he brought peace and happiness to all those whom he came in contact with.
Mark Anthony Bynum, 52, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Portneuf Medical Center, surrounded by his family ten days after injuries sustained by an automobile accident.
Mark was born October 28, 1960 in Merced, California to Junior Bynum and Martha Lousie Tillotson.Â He was raised in Modesto, California and graduated from Modesto High School
Brent K. Young, 62, of Moreland ventured on to cast his line in Heavenâ€™s rivers on Jan. 3, 2013.Â He passed from a heart condition which developed because of Agent Orange exposure during his service in Vietnam.
