Margaret Jean Gardner, 89, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at The Willows in Blackfoot.
She was born Feb. 5, 1925 in San Diego, Calif., the daughter of Harvey Franklin Aiman and Mattie Kearney Aiman.
She attended school in Jackson Hole, Wyo. and Idaho Falls and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She played on the softball team and was valedictorian.
Jean lived most of her life in Idaho Falls, but spent time in San Diego, Calif. and Jackson Hole, Wyo.Â
Jack Le Roy Seiber, 22, of Idaho Falls, passed away Feb. 27, 2014, from injuries sustained in a tragic car accident near Price, Utah.
Jack was born Nov. 16, 1991, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Everett Franklin Seiber and Shawn Kimbrough Seiber. He grew up and attended schools in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School. He was on the debate team and with the math group. He also attended Cameron University in Oklahoma.
Jack was a soldier in the United States Army, with the rank of specialist. He served in the United Arab Emirates and at Fort Sill, Okla.
Stella Louise Butler Webb, 94, of Idaho Falls and formerly of Blackfoot, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at her home at Mt. Vernon Assisted Living Center.
Stella was born Oct. 18, 1919, in Basalt, Idaho, to George Franklin Butler and Lydia Ethel Martin Butler. She grew up in Goshen and attended school through the eighth grade.

She was born June 13, 1924 in Idaho Falls, to John Thomas and Edna Estella Bradley Jones.Â She attended school in Blackfoot.
On June 7, 1944 she married Phillip Sinclair Harward, in Annapolis, Maryland.Â As Phillip was in the Navy, they had the opportunity to travel and live in different places.
Melody Andersen, 60, of Brigham City, Utah passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Willow Glen Health and Rehabilitation of natural causes.
Melody was born May 2, 1953 in Riverton, Wyo. to Theo D. Andersen and Elaine Mae John.Â She was raised in Rockford, Idaho.Â She graduated from Snake River High School in 1971 and went on to attend the LDS Business College, moved to Utah and then to Chicago before moving back to Idaho in 2010.Â She was living in Brigham City at the time of her death.
Michael James Birch, 68, of Blackfoot, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2014 while fishing on the Snake River.
He was born Nov, 11, 1945 in St. Anthony, Idaho, to Lowell Edgar and Rayola Rudd Birch.Â He was raised in St. Anthony and attended school there, graduating from South Fremont High School.Â He excelled baseball while in high school. Â He attended Ricks College for two years, then moved to Pocatello to attend I.S.U., where he earned a BS in Political Science.Â He moved to Blackfoot in 1976 and has resided here since.
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend, JoAnn Jackson Polatis, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014 at her home in Thomas, Idaho, her favorite place to be.Â
She was born on Oct. 8, 1936 in Thomas, Idaho to Clarence Mark and Wilma Martin Jackson at the home of her grandparents. She attended school in the Snake River District, graduating in 1955, the first class in the new high school. She then attended Ricks College.
Wayne A. Whitten, 91, of Blackfoot, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Idaho Veterans Home in Pocatello.
Wayne was born on Feb. 26, 1923 in Blackfoot to Albert William and Florence Leona Cones Whitten.Â He was a lifelong resident of Blackfoot.Â He attended school in the Blackfoot School District and graduated from Blackfoot High School.Â In 1943, Wayne joined the Army.Â He was trained as a radar technician and was stationed in Japan following World War II.
Wayne married Thelma Coles in Las Vegas, Nev. in 1964.
Owen Verne Taylor, 78 , of Blackfoot, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 with his family at his side.
Verne was born on May 9, 1935 in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Owen Albert and Lois Dunn Taylor.Â He attended school in Snake River, graduating from Snake River High School on May 20, 1953.Â Following graduation he attended Idaho State College, graduating on May 18, 1954 in Auto Mechanics.
On May 27, 1955 Verne married Vera Petersen,Â their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
DeEsta Cornwall, 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away February 28, 2014 in Pocatello.
DeEsta was born April 21, 1942 in Idaho Falls to Leonard and Wilma Ross. She was raised by Clarence and Wilma Warren in the Rigby/Ririe area. She married George T. Hames on August 15, 1958. Together they had four children, two girls, Connie Jean and Quantilla Rae and two boys, George Allen and Vernal Lee. She was married to Verl Cox from 1977-1991 and Ray Cornwall from 2005-present.
