THOMAS — For the fourth year in a row, the Snake River Lady Panther soccer squad are heading to the state tournament, representing the fifth district as the conference champions.
"I told these girls that this is our field and we don't want to go home without winning on this field with this team," Snake River head coach Randy Turpin said. "We had play out of kids all day long like they wanted to win and I'm sorry but American Falls didn't know what to do with us. These dang kids have so much heart and I can't say enough."
BLACKFOOT — The Blackfoot volleyball program paid a fond farewell to four seniors on Tuesday night as Taylor Sheepskin, Quinci Mortensen, Vanessa Wislodoski and Andrea Smith took to the home court for the final time in their prep careers.
At the end of the evening Hillcrest proved to be inhospitable house guests however, as they spoiled the evening by winning the match 3-1.
