THOMAS — Snake River and Aberdeen renewed their rivalry on the soccer pitch on Wednesday evening with a highly entertaining late game under the lights on the football field.
After 80 minutes of non-stop action, the teams left the field in a 1-1 draw but not first without several heart stopping moments.
"I think that we played great," Snake River head coach Trevor Peterson said. "It was just one of those nights in which we were unable to put a shot away."
THOMAS – Five of the six Snake River seniors scored on Wednesday evening and the Snake River Lady Panthers sent those seniors out on a high note by blanked the visiting Lady Tigers of Aberdeen 10-0.
"Senior night is always special with lots of tears and lots of emotion," Snake River head coach Randy Turpin said. "This group of seniors are special, they are all good leaders and great examples for the underclassmen on the team and I think that the underclassmen have learned a lot from this group."
