"We just couldn't stop number 15 tonight," said Coach Mike Kirkham. "We did some nice things tonight and are making improvements over some of our recent outings, but we remain a work in progress."

Lady Grizzlies nip Lady Broncos

December 4, 2010

BLACKFOOT — It was a home game for the Blackfoot Lady Bronco basketball team but it felt as if they were on the road from a statistical perspective as the visiting Skyline squad shot 28 free throws, compared to 4 for Blackfoot, in a 39-34 defeat at the hands of the Lady Grizzlies.
"Well, it was a much closer game," Blackfoot head coach Mike Kirkham said. "Bottom line is that the kids want to win and they are really trying. I haven't seen any of them giving up and as long as they'll continue with that attitude, things will have to get better."
