BLACKFOOT — It was the close of the 2012 regular soccer season for the Blackfoot Lady Broncos on Tuesday evening and for a trio of seniors, Alexsys Ramirez, Diana Hernandez and Sharon Varela, it was the final home game for them as well.
Unfortunately, on a day in which the wind was howling, the Lady Broncos were unable to muster the offense necessary to win as they fell 3-0 to conference foe Preston.
Idaho State senior tight end Josh Hill has been named the National Tight End of the Week by College Football Performance Awards for his performance on Saturday against Sacramento State.

His previous career high was nine catches against Portland State last year and 92 yards receiving against Western State in the 2011 home opener. For the season Hill has 25 catches for 242 yards and two touchdowns.
