McKay Cannon scores on a 70-yard run putting Shelley up 13-0 after missing the extra point.
The Shelley defense scores on an interception return and the Russets now lead 20-0 in the second quarter.
Shelley adds a touchdown in the third quarter and is now leading 27-0 over the Panthers.
Cannon finds the end zone again and Shelley extends the lead to 34-0.
Shelley leads Snake River 41-6 in the fourth quarter.
Blackfoot and Bishop Kelly have each had the ball twice and both have scored two touchdowns. The score is tied 14-14 after the first quarter.
Ramos finds Pearson in the corner of the end zone for a Blackfoot touchdown late in the second quarter and the Broncos lead 21-14 at the half.
Pearson scores again but the extra point is no good. Blackfoot leads Biship Kelly 27-14 with a minute left in the third quarter.
Blackfoot adds a field goal to make the score 30-14 with four minutes to play in the game.
FIRTH â€” When a team rolls undefeated through a conference season and then finishes second in the state one would expect several post season honors to follow.
That is exactly the case with the Firth Cougar volleyball squad as they took home player of the year honors, coach of the year honors and five first team all Nuclear Conference selections for the 2012 season.
Sophomore Bailey Nelson was named the player of the year for coach of the year Carla Reeves while Ashley Sanders, Kayla Jensen, Blakely date, Jordyn Park and Taylor Nelson each were selected to the first team.
POCATELLO â€” Idaho State's Holt Arena has seen it's fair share of blow outs over the years and on Thursday evening another was added to the long list as the Firth Cougars mauled the Trojans of Wendell with a 70-6 2A state quarterfinal victory.
"I thought that we had a very solid game plan and the kids executed what we had planned," Firth head coach Keith Drake said.
