Snake River Panthers vs Timberlake Tigers
Winner will face winner of Marsh Valley and Priest River.
The score is tied 6-6 at the end of the first quarter.
Snake River takes its first lead of the game at 10-8 in the second quarter.
It was a defensive battle in the first half and the teams head to the locker room tied at 13-13. Shayla Christensen has six points and Jocelyn Harper has seven for the Panthers.
Snake River has taken an early 18-15 lead in the third quarter.
REXBURG- The top seeded Madison Bobcats built a double digit lead and then held off a hard charging Shelley Russet squad 70-64 during semi-final action at Madison High School on Thursday evening.
Early on it looked as if the entire game was going to be a nip-tuck affair as the squads traded blows during a highly entertaining first quarter.
AMERICAN FALLS â The defending 3A state champions took to the mats on Thursday morning, looking to add a Southeastern Idaho Conference title to their already impressive resume.
At the end of a hard day of wrestling, Snake River did just that as they qualified 14 wrestlers into next weekends state tournament. Crowned seven individual champions en route to their first district title in a few years.
ST. ANTHONY- The Firth Cougars boys basketball faced off against the Butte Pirates Thursday night, in an intense game between the conferences top two squads. In the end, Firth dominated the night with a 59-42 win over the Pirates sending them into next weeks 2A Nuclear Conference championship game.
Firth was able to keep their lead through the whole game as they built a sizable lead that was never threatened for the better part of three quarters of play.
