PINGREE â Ashley Lambson and Trina Nicholson were among a group of people drying noodles at St. Johnâs Catholic Church on Sunday.
âMy grandmother (Rosemary Ray) has done this for years, so we help her out,â said Lambson.
Members of the parish make homemade noodles for about three weeks each November. The noodles are among the items sold at the churchâs annual Christmas bazaar, scheduled on Dec. 4 this year.
âIt gives the money to the church to be able to help the community out,â Nicholson explained.

IDAHO FALLS â For the second time this week the Blackfoot Lady Broncos faced off with a 5A foe on the hardwood, this time at Idaho Falls were the Lady Tigers were equal to the task, sending Blackfoot packing with a 62-38 victory.
"There were times during that ball game that if we make our free throws and stop their offensive rebounds we are there, we are that close," Blackfoot head coach Mike Kirkham said. "I know it doesn't seem like that or look like it we just need to realize that we are close. I don't think that they have stopped playing hard though."
BLACKFOOT â When Carl Watkins served part of his mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Blackfoot, he probably didnât expect to return and make his home here.
But thatâs what happened. After working in radio around the West, he, his wife Linda and their children landed in Blackfoot about 1988. Most of them are still here.

LOGAN, Utah â Former Bingham County Coroner Kyle B. Lindsay has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in Logan, Utah, reducing felony burglary and drug charges to misdemeanors.
Lindsay was sentenced last week to serve 10 days in jail and one year of probation. He has until Dec. 1 to report for his sentencing.
Elaine Horrocks Goodwin, 88, of Blackfoot passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 at the Gables in Blackfoot.
Elaine was born Dec. 2, 1921, in Blackfoot to Brigham and Victoria Giles Horrocks. She attended schools in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School in 1939.
On Jan. 9, 1940, Elaine married Blueland R âBarneyâ Goodwin in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they had six children, Evan, Raymon, Russell, Carole, Nancy and Suzette.
Jeffrey Roy Cox, 55, passed away peacefully on Nov. 13, 2010, in Redding, Calif., from a brain tumor.
He was the youngest of four sons, born to the late Adrian and Nell Cox in Portland, Ore., June 16, 1955. He graduated from high school in Huntington, Ore., where he was a member of the football team.

BLACKFOOT â Entering Wednesday evenings game with the 5A Highland Rams the Blackfoot Lady Broncos knew that they had a tough contest on their hands. For a better portion of the evening, that tough contest was nearly impossible to handle as Highland came out firing, downing Blackfoot on their home court 64-33.
FORT HALL â Doris Ingawanup Brunette, 90, passed away at home, Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010.
A viewing and visitation will be held at her residence on East Simplot Road in Ross Fork, from Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, until a funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church on Mission Road, Fort Hall with the burial following in the Mission Cemetery.
All natural burial arrangements are under the care of the Doris Brunette family.
Kathryn âKatieâ Hansen, 41, of Blackfoot passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at the Blackfoot West LDS Stake Center, 101 N. 900 W., Blackfoot.
The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot, and again for one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
