THOMAS â€” The chant went up from a young group of awestruck Panther fans early in the fourth quarter of Snake Rivers 52-33 conference win over Marsh Valley on Friday night.
"Junior Jimmer!" they chanted as Candon Watt stepped back and cooly drilled his fourth trey of the night for 3 of his game high 25.
Betty Lee Anthony, 82, of Firth, Idaho passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at her home in Firth.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 at the Kimball Ward LDS Church with Bishop Boyd Petersen conducting.
The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Hawker Funeral Home and again for one hour prior to services at the church.
Interment will be in the Firth Cemetery.

Dennis Myron Park, 65, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Renaissance Assisted Living in Blackfoot.
He was born June 29, 1945 in Blackfoot, Idaho the son of Myron Earl Park and Orva LaRee Lilya.
He graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1963.Â He then attended Ricks College for 2 years and for a short time at Utah State University.
Dennis was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a Spanish speaking mission in Fresno, California from1966-1968. His father passed away while he was serving a mission.
Mary Buckland, 91, of Blackfoot, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the Idaho Falls Care and Rehab.
She was born November 21, 1919 in Blackfoot, Idaho the daughter of Harry Hamilton and Bertha Marriott.Â Her youth was spent with summers on the ranch in Springfield and the school year in the Blackfoot until American Falls Dam took the ranch.
Mary lived in the Blackfoot area most of her life and received her education in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School in 1937.
BLACKFOOT â€” The Blackfoot School Board of Trustees received the results of an audit of the districtâ€™s bullying and harassment policies and administrative procedures during their regular meeting Thursday night.

Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home and will be announced.
SHELLEY â€” Assistant Librarian Henrietta Miller has made most of the 195 story kits available for loan at the North Bingham County District Library in Shelley.
The story kits feature a variety of themes. Some of these themes include holidays, transportation, trucks, cars, flight, animals, authors or destinations.
"One patron has borrowed every kit we have," Miller said.
Miller started building kits about 13 years ago, right after the library moved into its present location.
THOMAS - The Sugar Salem Diggers invaded the Panther Lair at Snake River Wednesday night and the two teams stood like a pair of heavyweight fighters slugging it out on the defensive end before the Panthers edged clear in the late stages to register a 47-34 victory.
"We really played well defensively tonight against a strong team," said Coach Robert Coombs. "I expect that Sugar will finish first or second in their district so that is added emphasis on how well we played."
BLACKFOOT â€” In the end it was a loss, but for Bronco fans in attendance at Wednesday evenings game against the Knights of Hillcrest, progress could be seen throughout the 86-73 defeat.
"Our offense is a lot better when we are a pass first team and you saw that out there tonight so at least we are making those strides because we had some really good possessions out there," Blackfoot head coach Jonathan Packer said. "We played with a lot of energy which I was happy to see."
Dwight Osborne, 65, died Jan. 25, 2011, at his home from complications due to Agent Orange exposure.
Dwight was born Nov. 16, 1945, to James Osborne Sr. and Alice Deepwater in Fort Hall, and was a member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes.
Dwight was raised by Jimmy and Elaine Ingawahnup in the Ross Fork Area.
Dwight graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1964 and attended school at Fort Lewis College until he joined the U.S. Marines in 1966.
Dwight served in the Marines until 1970 and obtained the rank of sergeant. Dwight served in the Vietnam War.
