BLACKFOOT — The final score of Wednesday's High Country Conference baseball game between the Blackfoot Broncos and the Bonneville Bees looks lopsided. In fact, the game itself was much tighter than the score indicates and unfortunately for the large Blackfoot crowd in attendance for Blackfoot's senior night, it was the visiting Bees who emerged on top with a 16-5 victory.

BLACKFOOT — A day removed from their first conference loss of the season, the Blackfoot Broncos took to the home diamond looking to split the season series with the Century Diamondbacks. Behind a complete game effort from starting pitcher Russel Osborn, the Broncos accomplished that feat as they avenged Thursday's loss with a tidy 3-1 win on Friday.
"Russel wanted the ball and he came out and got the job done today," Blackfoot head coach Kenny Dahle said. "He stayed ahead of hitters and just battled all day long."

POCATELLO — The Blackfoot Broncos hit the road on Thursday looking to improve upon their undefeated conference record when they faced off with Century at Halliwell Park. Unfortunately, an 8 error binge over the fifth and sixth innings spelled doom as the Diamondbacks upset the Broncos 7-2.
"We didn't even get on the bus right to come here," Blackfoot head coach Kenny Dahle said. "We were fifteen minutes late getting on the bus and throughout the whole day you could just see that we were not focused. Like I told the team afterwards though, we are still a good team. In fact, the only team that has beaten us this year is ourselves. We just need to lock it up and come back strong tomorrow."
