Abereen ladies capture 2A state golf title

The fabulous five some of Aberdeen have accomplished their goal, as Hazel Pratt, Breanna Duffin, Whitney Wahlen, April Beck and Sophia Duffin combined to shoot a two day total team score of 852 at the 2A state tournament in Couer D'Alene on Monday and Tuesday.
That score was a full 14 strokes better than second place McCall-Donnelly as the Lady Tigers brought home the coveted blue trophy for their 2A state championship.

In addition to the team title, April Beck was also a individual state medalist as she carded a 189 for a fourth place finish atop the leader board.
Hazel Pratt shot 215. Breanna Duffin fired a 222. Sophia Duffin carded a 229 and Whitney Wahlen rounded out the team score with a two day total of 236.
The boys were also in action at the tournament and when the dust had settled for a fifth place team finish with a score of 740.
Jaxon Archibald led the charge with a two day tally of 163, good enough for a fourth place finish atop the leader board.
Kylan Feld and Austin Anderson each shot 194 while Houston Wahlen fired a 195. Will Toevs rounded out the Tiger squad with a 213.
