Alan Blake Chadwick, 53, of Blackfoot, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012.
He was born June 28, 1958 in Blackfoot to Ralph Lorenzo Chadwick and Karen Marie Keller.
Blake received his education in California, graduating from Hemett High School.
On April 21, 1979, he married Denise Ritchie in Heber, Utah.
Blake farmed for many years and the past four years he had worked at Bingham Coop as a repairman.
He was very talented in woodworking and also enjoyed skeet shooting with his family, collecting and selling guns, and riding dirt bikes with his kids.
He is survived by his wife, Denise Chadwick of Moreland; son, Brett Chadwick of Moreland; daughter, Katie Chadwick of Moreland; brothers and sisters, Katholyn (Byron) Howell of Shelley, James Kirk (Vickie) Chadwick of Salt Lake City, Utah; Ralph Lee (Melody) Chadwick of Blackfoot and Melissa (Carlos) Mercado of Blackfoot; father and mother-in-law, Ray and Barbara Ritchie of Heber, Utah; sister- in-law, Karen Rasmussen and nephew Alex Rasmussen, both of Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot.
The family will meet with friends on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Moreland Cemetery.
