Hundreds of families attended baby animal day at the Eastern Idaho State Fairgrounds on Saturday. The event featured a variety of baby animals for children and adults to pet, hold, and watch. Three-year-old Ava Falter, expressed her fascination with the soft furry bunnies, "I want to buy it and put it in my bed!"
Baby animal day was a huge success. Sterling Hatch, founder of the event, said, "We try to expand a little every year."
Baby Animal Day has grown into an activity that all of Bingham County looks forward to every year. Hatch and his wife Manu started it as an effort to give all children the opportunity to experience farm life.
