Blackfoot dancer seeks chance to solo at 'Stadium of Fire"
BLACKFOOT – Tenisha Schild of Blackfoot is one step closer to performing her dance "Gravity" with a hula hoop at the Stadium of Fire show in Provo, Utah, this year. To move forward, she needs your vote.
Schild was just notified that she is in the top 40 talents remaining. Anyone interested in voting for Tenisha can go to http://www.freedomfestival.org/events/stadium-of-fire-talent-search/. Tenisha is contestant number 33.
"I would really appreciate people voting," said Schild. "I have performed at Stadium of Fire with dance teams before, but I think performing as a soloist would be one of the best opportunities I could have. I hope I get the chance."
Schild auditioned with the same routine that won "Bingham's Got Talent" for Relay for Life last year and Overall Lyrical Soloist at the World's Largest Dance Competition. Stadium of Fire is a live show in front of 55,000 people.
