Blackfoot High students clean up for Earth Day

Despite the plunging temperatures and the unpleasant sight of snow falling from the sky, the plans of 95-100 student volunteers from Blackfoot High School students went unaltered.The students wielded garbage bags, rakes and shovels and collected approximately 63 bags of garbage.
BHS students cleaned up the school grounds as part of Earth Day on April 22 and Arbor Day, traditionally the last Friday of April. The students said they were proud to help clean up their school and came up with the idea in Student Leadership Class.
