Blackfoot police seek public's help

June 20, 2012

The Blackfoot Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying two male persons who committed a burglary at the Maverik convenience store in Blackfoot on June 16. The males pictured entered the store shortly before midnight and stole a large amount of beer. The males appear to be in their late teens or early 20s and may have been driving a white car with a loud muffler.
"Two guys came in and picked up four 12-packs of beer," said Maverik manager Cheri Randall. "They were walking like they were going to the counter and then ran out the door.
"They ran over to a car parked at Kesler's," Randall said. "They were pretty gutsy."
The car was white with a possible loud muffler.
Blackfoot PD is also seeking assistance in identifying a female person of interest in a theft from Walmart Supercenter #1905 in Blackfoot on June 16. The female pictured entered the store about 6 a.m. and concealed merchandise in her purse before paying for other items and leaving the store. The female was wearing a blue hoodie sweatshirt with the word ‘Zoo York’ on the front.
If anyone has information about the identity of these people, they are asked to call the Bingham County Dispatch Center at 208-785-1234.
