Blackfoot pounds Pocatello, 45-28

October 26, 2013

Morning News — Jason Enes Blackfoot's Kylar Haddon runs through the tackle attempt of Pocatello's Cordell Robbins during the first quarter of their 4A District 5/6 game in Holt Arena on Friday night.

Against Madison last week Blackfoot freshman quarterback Pacen Hayes did his best to try and bring the Broncos back from a 21-point deficit with a pair of fourth quarter touchdown passes.
After that game Broncos head coach Stan Buck said that he would start the player under center who wanted it more.
Friday night in Holt Arena against Pocatello it was the freshman under center and he did not disappoint.
Hayes finished the night 8-of-10 passing for 214 yards and four touchdowns in his first full game as a starter as Blackfoot got its first 4A District 5/6 win of the season 45-28 over Pocatello Friday night in Holt Arena.
