Blackfoot tennis players claim championships

The Morning News – Katie Harris Only four Blackfoot tennis players were able to participate in a recent tournament in Idaho Falls, but all won championships. They are (from the right) Dylan Fuller, Baylee Gorder, Jacob Harris and Daylan Bird.

IDAHO FALLS – Blackfoot tennis players were few in number at the recent Jim Sailer Memorial Junior Tennis Tournament, but the young squad still made their presence known.
Dylan Fuller was the champion in Boys' 12 Singles while Baylee Gorder earned top honors in Girls' 12/14 Singles.
Daylan Bird won the consolation championship in Boys' 14 Singles while Jacob Harris won the consolation championship for the Boys' 16 Singles.
"It's great to have players getting this experience," said Blackfoot High School tennis coach Brint Jefferis. "We have a lot of talent and playing in tournaments just makes them better."
