Blake L. Bales, 64, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012, in Boise.
Blake was born Nov. 14, 1947 to Gayle and Lynn Bales of Blackfoot.
Blake was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bradley.
He is survived by four sisters and four brothers. Blair Bales (Chehalis, Wash.); Kelly Bales (Albion); Jocelyn (Vic) Adams (Pocatello); Julie (Carl) Wright (Swan Valley); Kathleen (Laurie) Williams (Swan Valley); Cherie Packham (Blackfoot); Kevin (Julie) Bales (Richmond, Utah); and Steven (Anita) Bales (Blackfoot).
Blake grew up in Blackfoot and graduated from Blackfoot High School. Blake was a graduate of the University of Idaho with a degree in Business and Accounting. He worked for the State of Idaho, Department of Transportation for 36 years. He served with the National Guard 116th Battalion in Vietnam.
Blake loved his country home, feeding the wildlife, tending his flowers, especially roses. He loved to fish and had a great kinship with his dogs. He loved technology, was loyal to his Country, Friends and Family.
Blake will be lovingly remembered for his kind heart and wonderful, one of a kind laugh.
