Thais worried about King's health

Thailand's king fails to deliver his annual birthday address which many hoped he would use to issue a call for unity. King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the world's longest-reigning monarch and accorded almost god-like reverence by many Thais, turned 81 on Friday but is suffering from a throat infection and is on a drip.

Medvedev on India nuclear mission

The Russian president and his Indian counterpart are due to sign a series of agreements. The two countries are expected to sign eight agreements during Dmitry Medvedev's visit including a pact under which Russia will build four further atomic reactors in southern Tamil Nadu state.
