BPAC asks for support of country concert

June 2, 2014

Ty Herndon

The Blackfoot Performing Arts Center (BPAC) needs the support of the community for Friday night's concert.
Country star Ty Herndon and popular Nashville band "Due West" will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. and programming director Susan Mann is asking the community to step up and help fill up the auditorium.
"If you ever enjoyed an event at the BPAC, we ask that you support this concert," Mann stated. "We need a good audience for this show."
Mann stressed that poor attendance at concerts can decrease future funding for the BPAC and make it difficult to attract good shows to the facility.
Many East Idahoans are familiar with the band "Due West" who opened for Trace Adkins at the Eastern Idaho State Fair last year.
"The audience loved Due West. A lot of people enjoyed them more than Trace Adkins," Mann said. "We are glad to have them back in Blackfoot."
