Broadhead offers thanks; promises to stay involved

December 14, 2011

To the Editor:
I would like to thank all the people who have supported me in my campaign for City Council, I really appreciate it. I would especially like to thank my children and grandkids, G.R. and Linda Dunbar, and Haden Williams for helping me distribute door hangers around town. Also thanks go out to all the people who wrote letters to the Editor in my behalf.
I would like to congratulate Mr. Butch Hulse on becoming our next City Councilman and wish him the best of luck.
During the campaign I have walked most of the streets in Blackfoot, met several nice people, and discovered that there are a lot of problems in town that need to be addressed. Just because I did not get elected does not mean I am going to sit on the sidelines and watch what happens. I am going to continue to try to change things that can be changed, and I would strongly urge people to get involved.
I again want to thank all of you for your support, it does mean a lot to me.
Thank you sincerely,
Clair L. Broadhead
