Cerise 'Ann' Prudhomme, 43

July 2, 2013

Cerise “Ann” Prudhomme, 43, daughter of Gayle and the late James Bang of Blackfoot returned home in her Heavenly Father's arms on  June 30, 2013 at her home with her family by her side.  What a glorious reunion.
She was the first child born to Gayle Cowley Prudhomme and William Thomas Prudhomme Jr.  Cerise was born on May 27, 1970 in Blackfoot.  She started this journey with many challenges ahead of her.  She gladly faced those with a smile and lots of love.
Shortly after she was born, her mom married Randy Wareing.  Soon a sister, Trina, and a brother, Theron, joined the family.
When Cerise was young her mom married James R. Bang who Cerise referred to as Daddy.  She loved him unconditionally and looked up to him.
Cerise attended schools from the time she was little and made several friends.  She attended many Special Olympics and was always showing off her medals.  Cerise attended junior high and high school, graduating when she was 21.  She was also able to graduate from Seminary, a very great accomplishment she was proud of.  Another one of her accomplishments was earning her Young Women’s Award.
Cerise is survived by her mom, Gayle Bang; her sister, Trina (Lane) Coffey; nieces and nephew, Rikki Ann Coffey, Randi (Jeremy) Hill and Casey (Cheyenne) Coffey; father, William Thomas Prudhomme Jr; cousins, Starla (Neal) Kirkpatrick and Emmabelle Kirkpatrick; uncles, Bruce (Nelda) Cowley, Maurice (Mary) Cowley, Gordon (Vicki) Cowley, Max Cowley and Chris (Elenor) Bang; aunt, Catherine (Gil) Cannon; many other cousins; and the many friends she made along the way.
She was preceded in death by her dad, James R. Bang; her brother, Theron Wareing; grandparents, Norman and Florence Cowley, Marvin and Lucille Wareing, Christian and Mildred Bang; cousin, Colin Cowley; uncles, Robert Bang and Charles Bang; and aunt Sue Bang.
Thank you to all those that have helped and been there for our family.  It has been greatly appreciated.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Blackfoot East Stake Center, 1289 Mount Putnam Drive in Blackfoot .  Family will meet with friends and relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot and for one hour prior to services at the church.  Interment will follow at the Grove City Cemetery.   Condolences may be sent to the family at condolences@hawkerfuneralhome.com.
