Cinthia Chandler, 53, of Blackfoot passed away Friday, March 2, 2012.
Cinthia was born Aug. 24, 1958 in Blackfoot to Ross and LaFay Chandler.Â She spent her childhood in Firth, graduating from Firth High School in 1976. She later attended Idaho State University in Pocatello. Throughout her life she lived in Spokane, Wash., and Blackfoot.
She worked as a paralegal secretary for 15 years and was a Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteer.Â In her free time she enjoyed being with her grandchildren and drawing and coloring with them.Â She liked going to museums with her granddaughter Kacey.Â She was a devoted mother and grandmother; she was wonderful to everyone and helped anyone who needed help.Â Cinthia had numerous nieces and nephews that she enjoyed and loved very much.
Cinthia is survived by her son, Joshua Andrus of Blackfoot; daughters, Cody (Hunter) Andrus Koch of Spokane, Wash., and Ericka (Kenneth) Kelly of Idaho Falls; her mother, LaFay Chandler of Blackfoot; brother, Dennis Chandler of Idaho Falls; sisters, Donna Walters of Blackfoot, Marilyn Marlow of Arizona, Marla Jo Woodhouse of Blackfoot and Shawna (DeRay) Womack of Blackfoot; and grandchildren, Monique Andrus, Landyn Murphy, Emilee Andrus, Kacey Andrus and Milo Koch.Â Â
She is preceded in death by her father, Ross Chandler; and brother, Boyd Chandler.
Family will meet with friends and family from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot.Â Condolences may be sent to the family at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A family luncheon will be held at the Firth LDS Church at 1 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2012.
