November 8
• A hot meal will be served for those in need at Jason Lee Methodist Church, 168 S. University Ave, from 5- 6:30 p.m. No charge, no IDs, no dress code; nothing but good food and fellowship. For more information, call 785-3611.
• Election Day. Polls open from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Elections for three positions of the Bingham County Senior Citizen Board is today from 8:30-3:30 p.m. at the Bingham Senior Citizens Center, 20 E. Pacific St. Bingham County residents 60 or older are elgible to vote.
• FREE help with Part D drug plans. Volunteers will be at Blackfoot Family History Library from 1-4 p.m. For more info call 785-4847.

November 9
• There are two items on the Planning and Zoning Commissioners’ agenda at the hearing that begins at 7 p.m. in Bingham County Courtroom number one.

November 10
• The Firth Veterans Day Assembly is today at 9 a.m. at Firth High School, 329 Lincoln St. For more information call 346-6811.
• FREE help with Part D drug plans. Volunteers will be at Blackfoot Family History Library from 1-4 p.m. For more info call 785-4847.
• Blackfoot High School is offering a basic computer class on Thursdays beginning today. The class will be from 6-8 p.m. and last six weeks. Cost is $25. Call Lori Kay at 785-8810 to register.
• “Meal Time Inspirations–Holiday Edition” will run from 7:30-9 p.m. at the University Place Bennion Student Union Building multipurpose room on the second floor. The address is 1784 Science Center Drive in Idaho Falls.
Cost is $5 if registered and paid in advance at any University of Idaho Extension Office today or $6 at the door. Call 785-8060 to register or for more information.

November 11
• Blackfoot Elks Lodge Veteran’s Dinner and rib eating contest. Tickets available at Elks Lodge, Lori’s Salon or at the door. Tickets are $10. Event begins at 6 p.m.
