Community comes together to aid 'Angels'

Morning News — Bob Hudson Members of Angels Among Us, a Relay for Life team, serve up potatoes and fixin's during a fundraiser at Jason Lee Memorial United Methodist Church on Saturday.

At least two dozen cancer survivors were among those in attendance at Saturday's Relay for Life fundraiser.
Many of those supporting the potato bar and cake auction which the team, Angels Among Us, sponsored have been touched by cancer.
"I have a sister who had cancer," said Bill Kelleher, who was among the supporters.
"It's a just a good cause, a worthwhile cause, I think," he added.
Ludean and Skip Yancey agreed. "It's a good cause. The money goes to a good cause, not to administrative costs.
