County 4-H Fair continues
BLACKFOOT — The 4-H Horse Show begins at 8 a.m. and ends about 1 p.m. today at the Eastern Idaho State Fairgrounds (EISF).
Horsemen will compete in Junior English, jumper, bareback, and Western equitation. Next follows walk/trot, Western, English trail horse and Intermediate/Senior Western reining and Western horsemanship.
The 4-H Fair is Monday through Wednesday at the EISF.
The schedule is as follows:
7:30 a.m.—Market Lamb/MeatGoat/Rabbit Weigh-in
8 a.m.—Rabbit Show
Enter Home Ec., Miscellaneous (Misc.) Projects and Secretary books until 9:30 a.m.
Enter Dairy Goats
9:30 a.m.—Swine Weigh-in (after sheep, goat, rabbit weigh-in)
10 a.m. —Home Ec./Misc. Project Judging and Project Interviews
Noon—Meat Goat Show
1 p.m.—Beef Weigh-in
2 p.m.—Enter Dairy Cattle, Weigh-in Cattle Kids calves
3 p.m.—Sheep Show
5 p.m.—Needlecraft Building closed
8 a.m.—Swine Show
8:30 a.m.—Dairy Goat Show
9 a.m.—Needlecraft Building open
Int./Sr. Table Setting contest
9:15 a.m.—Jr. II Table Setting contest
9:30 a.m.—Jr. I/Cloverbud Table Setting contest
10 a.m.—4-H/Parent Cookie Baking contest
11:30 a.m.—Sandwich Art activity
1 p.m.—Dairy Cattle show
1:30 p.m.—Consumer Decision Making contest until 3:30 p.m.
5 p.m.—Beef Show
