County officials plant trees at courthouse

Morning News — Leslie Mielke A Bingham County work crew inmate fills in the hole for one of the flowering pear trees planted in the boulevard at the southwest side of the Bingham County Courthouse grounds on Friday morning. Bingham County Commissioner Whitney Manwaring holds the tree.

Bingham County commissioners Whitney Manwaring and Mark Bair and Bingham County Sheriff Craig Rowland each planted a flowering pear tree on the boulevard on Friday morning at the southwest side of the Bingham County Courthouse.
"We want to beautify the grounds," said Scott Summers, maintenance supervisor for the courthouse grounds and building.
