BLACKFOOT — In the Christopher Cox case, Magistrate Judge Charles Roos unsealed most of the documents regarding this case.
The 38-year-old Cox is the former Snake River Junior High School principal who is accused of three counts of sexual abuse of a child under age 16. It is alleged the victim was 14-years-old at the time of the incidents. She has since left the area.
Judge Roos said he was going to vacate the order [to seal the case] because it "was not properly done."
The only documents that remain sealed are the no contact order, the affidavit of probable cause and the search warrant. The identity of the victim, her family and her residence remain sealed.
Cox's pre-trial has been continued to Thursday, March 22.
