Danny Clarence Hawley, 59, of Ucon passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012 at his home.
Danny was born Dec. 5, 1952 in Blackfoot to Clarence Glenn Hawley and Nevada Ellen Wortley.Â He was raised in Howe and attended grade school in Howe, graduating from Butte High School and then attended two years of college at Idaho State University.
In 1974 Danny married Agnes Marie Webb.Â They were later divorced.
Danny lived in Pocatello for about 10 years.Â He moved to Blackfoot to start a well drilling company and then moved to Atomic City in 1998.Â He worked eight years as a maintenance man for the Health Department, owned a long haul trucking company, started drilling wells in 1981 and retired in 2005 due to a back injury.Â In his free time he enjoyed metal and wood work.
He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Danny is survived by his brother, David (Connie) Hawley of Howe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Darwin, Forrest and Terry.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at the Little Lost Community Church in Howe.
The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at the church and a luncheon will follow the service also at the church.
