Deborah Jean Thomas, 63
Deborah Jean Thomas, 63, of Blackfoot, passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Deborah was born March 24, 1949 in Wendell, to Glendon Myers Nicholls and Crystal Pauline White. She spent her youth in Blackfoot and graduated from Snake River High School in 1968. She went on to pursue a tech degree in office management.
She married her husband Lester Craig Thomas on Nov. 2, 1974 and together had two beautiful sons — Benjamin and Eric. Lester and Deborah were later divorced.
Deborah was a hard worker and loved what she did. She worked for Simpson Dental and was and office manager for American Linen Company.
She had many hobbies but her two favorites were painting and sewing. Deborah also loved to serve those around her. She was always going out of her way to make sure that she was doing anything she could to lend a hand to someone in need.
Deborah is survived by her sons; Benjamin (Lisa) Thomas and their children, Kailie, Kleyton and Lydia of Challis and Eric Craig (Karen) Thomas and their children, Emma and Bryson of Eagle Mountain, Utah, brother Bruce Nicholls of Arizona City, Ariz.; her companion, Steven Brent Cronquist of Pingree and his children, Jimmy Cronquist of Arco and John (Stacey) Cronquist of Bellevue, Idaho, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Glendon and Crystal, and her sister Pat Butler.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot. Burial will follow at the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery
Family will visit with friends one prior to services at the funeral home.
