Delores Shaw, 66, of Blackfoot, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at the Willows Care Center in Blackfoot.
She was born April 20, 1946 at Powell, Wyo., to Samuel and Filinice Martinez Chavez.
Delores attended the Jefferson School in Riverton, Wyo.Â She has lived in Riverton and Lander, Wyo., and Pocatello and Blackfoot.
She married Berdie Shaw in Pocatello.Â They were later divorced but have remained close friends.
She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Delores devoted her time and talents to raising her two daughters and making a home for them.
She enjoyed listening to music and loved to paint her fingernails.
Delores is survived by her daughters: Susan (Feliciano) Gomez and Josefine (Mauricio) Camacho Suarez, both of Blackfoot; her parents, Filinice Martinez and Samuel Chavez; grandchildren, Ilario Gomez, Memo Gomez, Letisia Tristan, Mirella Tristan, Marviel Tristan, Mauricia Camacho Suarez, Serhrand Suarez, Alsxa Comacho Suarez, and Lusero Camacho Suarez; brother Henry Chavez; sister, Josefine Chavez and close friend Berdie Shaw.
She was preceded in death by four brothers: Robert, Joe, Silvian and Fonzo Chavez and one sister, Frances Garcia.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot.Â The family will meet with friends and family from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to service.Â Condolences may be sent to the family at email@example.com.
