Edmund LeRoy Pugmire, 76

Edmund LeRoy Pugmire, 76, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at his home.
Edmund was born April 25, 1938 in Pocatello, Idaho to Howard Edmund Pugmire and Matilda Mead.  He lived in and received his education in Pocatello.
On March 19, 1961 Edmund married  Delores Gregan in Nevada.
He served his country in the United States Air Force, spending time in Japan during the Korean Conflict.
Edmund worked as a truck driver, as a Teamster, at road construction in the Western United States and spent the last ten years before retirement at the Site.  In his free time he enjoyed hunting, camping, riding horses in the mountains and collecting die cast cars.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Edmund was a member of the Teamster Chapter in Pocatello, of the Local 983, the Local 10, Bingham County Mounted Sheriff Posse, Chariot Racing and Flat Track Racing.
He is survived by his wife, Delores of Blackfoot; son, Edmund Roy of Blackfoot; step son, Stan Locke of Blackfoot; step daughter, Regeana Hutcherson of Pocatello; one brother; six sisters; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his step daughter, Rebecca Putnum Rich; and both parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. Family will meet with friends and  relatives from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 and for one hour prior to services at Hawker Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at the Grove City Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.hawkerfuneralhome.com.
