Farrell DeVon Cammack, 69

Farrell DeVon Cammack, 69, a lifetime Blackfoot resident, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at his home following a valiant battle with cancer .
He was born June 21, 1942 in Riverside to Wilbert and Eunice Ward Cammack.
He attended school in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School.  Following high school Farrell enlisted in the United States Air Force.  He served in Vietnam and the Philippines from 1961 to 1965.
In 1965 he married Eunice Johnson.  Two children were born to this union, Scott and Andrea.  They were later divorced.  In 1995 he began courting Jylene Stoddard and later married in December of 2007, adding two more girls, Jessica and Brandy, to the family.     
Farrell was a member of the American Legion Stewart Hoover Post #23 and had served as a past commander and was a longtime member of the Blackfoot Elks Lodge #1416.  He was currently serving as the Blackfoot City Councilman where he had served for 17 years.  He was very active in the city government. He worked as a machinist and parts manager at Spudnik for 20 years. In 1987 he went to work for Wada Farms, where he was currently employed.
Farrell enjoyed golf, computers, woodworking, bowling, going to ball games and inventing.  His most favorite times were spent with family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Jylene; son, Scott (Brandee) Cammack; daughter, Andrea (Gary) Yancey, all of Blackfoot;  Jessica (Kenny) Von Wellier of Gillette, Wyo.; Brandy (Kris) Brangham of Blackfoot; brother, Ward Cammack of Blackfoot; sisters,
Rodonna (Ted) Katseanes of Blackfoot, Elaine (McKell) Crawford of Idaho Falls; and grandchildren: Jake, Clay, Austin, Brooke, Rylie, Daniel, Angelia, Sabastian, Ashton and great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Gunner and Emmett.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a stillborn sister.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave.  The family will meet with friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 3, 2012,  and again for one hour prior to at the funeral home
Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery. 
 Military rites will be presented by the American Legion Stewart Hoover Post #23.
