Fifth District champions

The Snake River Lady Panthers volleyball team celebrates its 3A Fifth District championship after taking down Bear Lake 25-12, 25-9, 25-19 at American Falls High School on Thursday. “I was pleased. So pleased,” Snake River head coach Shelli Van Orden said. “We played consistent. It wasn’t drop a set , then kill a team. ... All the scores were right where we thought they’d be.” The Lady Panthers open State tournament play on Nov. 1 at 8 a.m. against the third place team from District 3.
