"I was so proud of our kids," Firth head coach Sharla Cook said. "I thought that we showed great improvement from our first game. I thought that we did a much better job defensively and much better job of shooting our free throws."
Facing off against a much bigger and a very physical South Fremont squad, Firth never backed down, especially on the low blocks where Ashli Munger, Jennifer Mejia and Shannon Spencer were battling all evening long.
"South Fremont has some tall girls but I think that we did a pretty good job of containing them, I was pleased." coach Cook said.
